We Wanted to Create a Story That’s Loved — NTale’s Warm Game Philosophy Behind Moonlight Dialogue

“A story where everyone becomes the main character. That’s the kind of game we want to create.”

Yoon Donghee, CEO of NTale

There is a team dedicated to designing moments when the player truly becomes the protagonist of the story and when the characters feel like real people. That team is NTale, currently developing a female-oriented interactive story game. With heartfelt storytelling, NTale strives to create a space where players can heal emotions that are hard to comfort in real life, and where everyone can experience what it means to be genuinely loved.

“We wanted to create a game where anyone can feel loved.”

Q: To begin, could you briefly introduce yourself?

NTale: Hello, I’m Yoon Donghee, producer, planner, and team lead at NTale, a studio developing female-oriented simulation games.

Q: What inspired you to establish your own game studio?

NTale: There wasn’t some grand reason behind it. I simply wanted to create a game where anyone could feel the joy of being loved. With that thought in mind, I began looking for teammates. Fortunately, there were already many talented people around, and after asking for their help, the team came together.

Q: Do you have any memorable moments from the early days of the studio?

NTale: The moments that stand out most are when the characters we had planned and written finally began to come to life. Those were the happiest times. Of course, as an indie team, we often face challenges—limited funding, members balancing other jobs to make a living, and moments when we feel like giving up or running away. But seeing our characters become real makes us forget all of those hardships.
